Cocktail rings over the past 5 years have burst onto the fashion scene like a plague in the form of little coloured diamantes! Complimenting all sorts of costume jewellery and to be honest…I’m all for it! If you can’t afford the real deal…then fake the look until you can! Now this doesn’t mean buy a fake designer version (the ones where they have a fake Swarovski symbol on the inside of the ring) I’m not all for that!

Instead this is probably the one fashion accessory that makes me feel like there’s no pressure to get diamonds or semi-precious stones and in fact it helps you save that money to go to more simpler and cleaner ring pieces (and also ensures Mr Lovely doesn’t chuck a hissy fit about how much I’ve spent on shoes, clothes and jewellery for the month!).

The basic rule for cocktail rings is to wear them on your index or middle fingers and the more interesting and wild they are (yes, Lovely does have a wild side) THE BETTER!

Lately a trend of animal shaped cocktail rings have been emerging onto the fashion accessories scene and the fun thing about them is that you can pair them up with each other…octopus ring…seaweed ring…get the picture my little lovelies??
